Fin Garden

The Fin Garden of Kashan, with an area of 23,700 square meters, is one of the first buildings of the Shah Abbas I era.

In Zandieh and Qajar periods, other buildings such as the Karim Khani and the Qajar Kushk have been added to the garden. Architecture of the Safavi Kushk is related to Reza Abbasi, a famous artist of the Safavid period. The paintings inside the Qajar Kushk are related to Sunni al-Mulk, Kamal al-Mulk’s uncle. Beautiful paintings on the ceiling of Qajar palaces are narrations of various romance and epic tales. The boiling pond inside the garden has 160 holes, 80 of which pour the water into the pond and 80 other holes, directing the water out of it. To this end, a balancing system will be created in the water supply. The water flowing out of this pond goes to the 12_ fountain pond. The design of the pond tiles has been the design of Kashan carpet. The balancing system in the dock, by creating a visual error for the viewer, is a drawer of spread carpet on the water. The side of the boiling pond was used as an ancient king-size room. The source of the entire Fin Garden’s water is from one third of the Sulaymaniyah spring located behind this complex. The Fin Bathroom Collection inside the garden has two baths of Safavid and Qajar which has a Qajar bath larger than the Safavid bath and the place of martyrdom of Mirzataghi Khan Farahani, who was called Amir Kabir, was inside the Safavid bath. This work was registered in the year 1314 with the number 238 for the national works and in the year 1389 by the number 1372-004.
